The Psychology General Development Fund provides general support for the Psychology Department in a variety of areas. For example, in recent years contributions to this fund enabled us to properly celebrate the history of psychology at FSU, honor our retiring faculty, and hold our first two Annual Psychology Graduate Research Days. This fund also supports graduate student travel to regional and national conferences.
The Kellogg Dissertation Fund provides assistance to graduate students for dissertation expenditures. This fund is completely alumni supported so your contributions are crucial for the program.
The James C. Smith Endowment provides funding for annual presentations by renowned scientists in the field of Behavioral Neuroscience and honoring Dr. Smith's many years of service to the department.
The Mark A. Berkley Research Fellowship provides funds supporting undergraduate research projects in all areas of psychology. Awards are given annually to the top undergraduate research proposals as selected by a faculty committee. Recipients of this award are announced at the Department's Undergraduate Research Day event.
The Howard Baker Endowed Research Award provides for an award given annually to an undergraduate student conducting the best research project as judged by a review panel of faculty.
The Mark and Gloria Charness Dissertation Fund provides assistance to graduate students for dissertation expenses.
The Joe Grosslight Endowed Scholarship in Psychology is awarded annually to a graduate student who demonstrates superior teaching and wishes to pursue the teaching of psychology as a career.
The Stan and Paula Warmath Distinguished Service Award provides for an annual award to a staff member or specialized faculty member in Psychology in recognition of dedicated service to the department.
The Glee Ross Hollander Dissertation Award provides for an award for the doctoral student in Psychology whose dissertation is deemed the best in a given year by a faculty selection committee.
