Developmental cognitive neuroscience. Our research surrounds the question “how can we better identify and treat children with developmental difficulties in order to improve academic and mental health outcomes?” To answer this question, we use cognitive neuroscience tools to investigate brain function in children with common developmental difficulties. Populations in our research include children with learning challenges, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Our research leverages a multimodal approach combining across fMRI and network science, as well as across clinical, neuropsychological, and behavioral methods.
