Research Interests

My students and I study language. We are interested in understanding the processes involved in language production and language comprehension. How do social and cognitive factors shape the words and phrases that we choose when we speak? How do our systems of perception and action planning support language comprehension? These are some of the questions that we are currently exploring.

Lab Description

The role of systems of perception and action planning in language comprehension; embodied cognition; language production; learning and adaptation effects in both language comprehension and production; language acquisition.
