Research Interests
Dr. Towne earned his Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Florida State University in 2016. His research interests include skill acquisition, expertise, video game training, and generalizable ability. He currently teaches undergraduate courses at the FSU-Panama City campus. Courses he has taught include Careers in Psychology, Research Methods in Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Adult Development and Aging, Child Psychology, Human Memory and Learning, Psychology of Language, and Abnormal Child Psychology.
